Sail Art

Between 15 artist who were chosen, Aysha Khalid Mohammed have been one of the selected, where they participated for Ministry of Culture Sail Art competition, where she had to enter the competition with her hand drawn artwork. Bahraini theme was the topic of the competition. Aysha took a workshop with Mr. Patrick Harris an international artist, who gave the participants the full knowledge about sail’s painting. the workshop was from 6th DECEMBER - 9th DECEMBER in the Art Centre in Manama.

The sails were part of the The 42st Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition that will held in the National art museum (Bahrain National theatre) on the 20th JANUARY 2016.the Concept of the work was living reflection, where the reflection of the moving sail with fish scales painted on it to capture the sense of a real fish.
